Target P.M.T. Cage Sign I

Good evening everybody!

I have created a P.M.T. cage sign for my workplace at Target as a kind way of thanking my workplace for supporting my art habits and occasionally giving me scrap metal as well as colored can tabs. This sign was created out of two long pieces of scrap metal from the lights in the building from when the timers and bulb types were upgraded throughout the store.

The P.M.T. manager found them and cut most of them down to have them recycled, but with the Store Manager's consent, I was allowed to have three of them. As you can tell two of them went to this project. I utilized many different paints in specific fashions to create a dusty, charred at the cut spot and acid splashed look. Metallic Red, Insignia Red, Metallic Silver, Gloss White, Gunmetal, and several other colored paints were used. Also used was Zinc Chain and Red Clips to match the red theme of the store.

The store P.M.T and management team liked the sign very so much and so it now hangs out the outside of the P.M.T. Cage to identify it for whenever maintenance personnel or contractors from outside the company go in the backroom looking for said cage/office.
